Truly Great True Stories!
Everyone has a great story to tell... We'd like to hear yours!
We wish to be an open forum in which people can tell TRUE stories that they themselves wouldn't believe if they hadn't happened to them or in front of them. We all can relate to those times when something happened that was truly amazing, embarrassing, funny, scary or just plain weird or maybe all of the above! We believe that in a world full of conflict that the human experience is universal and that we all can relate to a great True story. Perhaps if we share these stories, we will hear from others who have had similar experiences and our contributors and readers alike will take a lot of pleasure in sharing stories from their past or perhaps even something that has happened very recently.
We would love to receive them in video or text format. Use your real name or a user name. We encourage all of you to contribute and also to judge stories based on two simple criteria- First and foremost, is the story believable? And Secondly, did the story entertain, educate, amuse or amaze you? If someone posts a story and sees that many people don’t believe it, they should not take offense if they know the story is true. In a Weird way, that only confirms how Weird their True story is! The idea for this site came when at a dinner party, I told a few “Feeling Small” stories of my own to my friends. After doing so, I asked each and every one of them to reciprocate by telling me about an incident in their life where they did something or said something that turned out to be a great embarrassment for them. Everyone at the table had one and we all laughed our way through the meal. As a forty+ year collector, I have had many adventures good, bad or just plain Weird. I have enjoyed telling those stories and hearing them from fellow collectors all my life. So I thought, why not add that category. Eventually I added categories to my list until I wound up with the list that you see here. Please tell your stories. It is free and will be great reading for all of us!

All of us have some weird stories to tell involving strange occurrences, coincidences, synchronicity, and deja vu. Many of these stories have amazing twists that seem to align well with an ordered theory such as destiny. Paramnesia, also termed promnesia, is the scientific term for deja vu and dates back to ancient times. Weird stories have always had a place in society, although they have never clearly been understood. Strange coincidence stories and synchronicity have always been an interesting topic and one even the great Swiss psychiatrist Carl Jung had difficulty explaining. The weird stuff that happens in our daily lives is one of the most interesting mysteries to mankind and there have always been scientists, mystics, and ordinary people attempting to construct a coincidence theory to help explain this stuff. In addition weird news has always been a large attention grabber. You can see many examples on prime time television documenting amazing stories, strange coincidences, deja vu, and weird synchronicity.

We've all experienced the sense of familiarity and eerie creepy feeling that comes with deja vu. We can't recall the exact moment in which the coincidence took place or why we feel utterly weird as its happening.
